About ITC First

ITC First is an awarding body that develops qualifications and then approves, supports and verifies the activity of ITC Centres delivering environmentally specific, well resourced, tailored first aid training to all sectors and an increasing range of other regulated qualifications as requested by their Centres. ITC promotes the training course and the qualification programmes of ITC accredited Centres and it provides a ‘one stop shop’ for members of the public looking for a recognised appropriate first aid qualification.

As an ITC Centre there is no need for customers to perform a first aid due diligence check. Quality counts! Regulations state there is no need for employers to perform due diligence checks on regulated ITC Centres delivering ITC qualifications. See paragraph 12 of HSE document GEIS 3: www.hse.gov.uk.
